Tatar Opera Theatre named after M.Dzhalil goes on tour in the Netherlands

February 25, 2013 The Opera Company of the Tatar State Academic Theatre goes on tour in the Netherlands. As part of the spring touring foreign artists will present a series of public performances of "Rigoletto" and big concert program. The tour will last until March 30.

The tour will bring together more than 100 people: artists, orchestra, chorus, soloists, administrative and technical staff. Invited singers (Ahmed Agadi Nurlan Bekmukhambetov, Susanna Chakhoyan, Galina Cheplakova Nicholas Vishnyakov Olga Vutiras etc.) and conductors - Airat Ishmuratov (Canada), Alla Moskalenko (Ukraine), Mick Ayshenholts (Sweden) are also involved in the productions. Performances and concerts will take place in The Hague, Rotterdam, Apeldoorn, Gouda and other cities. Scale sets and costumes for productions were sent to their destination in advance
Performances of the Tatar Theater of Opera and Ballet in Europe  is primarily a massive propaganda theater Tatarstan, aimed at building and strengthening the positive image the Republic in the international arena. It is one of the few Russian musical theater, and an active touring outside the country for more than 20 years.

Let us recall that performance of "Rigoletto" was put on stage in 2009, director Michael Pandzhavidze. Luxurious stage setting decision belongs to tandem of Kiev artists - Andrei Zlobin and Anne Ipatyeva. Over the past few years the opera has repeatedly demonstrated with great success in Europe.

In the absence of an opera company ballets "Spartacus," "Shurale", "Don Quixote", "The Nutcracker," "Le Corsaire," "Peer Gynt," "Swan Lake," "Coppelia", "Annie" "The Lady of the Camellias", will be staged at the theater.
