Dietrich Buxtehude - one of the most famous Baroque composers. His works for organ are an essential part of the traditional organ repertoire. Masterpieces by Buxtehude had a significant influence on Bach creative work and European music in general. Spirit of improvisation, love for unexpected turns, and alternation of typical rhythms are inherent for composer’s style. In the upcoming concert of chorales, preludes and fugues by Buxtehude will be performed by Cyril Jankowski.

Concert-monograph "Buxtehude" is part of a musical series "organ recitals with Cyril Jankowski." This traditional organ season ticket combines three programs. In the season 2012-2013 played Cyril Jankowski Omsk audience will hear not only the best examples of German baroque music, but the music of Purcell, Sweelinck, Andriessen, and Bridge in the January program "England. Holland" and"Romantic Organ" by Mendelssohn, Brahms and Franck in April.

Cyril Jankowski has been an Omsk Philharmonic solo organist since 2007. He graduated from the Faculty of Culture and Arts of the FM Dostoevsky Omsk State University. Professor Alexander Fiseisky was his teacher of organ class at Russian Academy of Music named after the Gnesins. Cyril Jankowski worked on probation in Holland and Germany. Currently, the performer is a permanent member of the Omsk Philharmonic programs
